Yvette Saeugling, LISW
Yvette Saeugling is a Licensed Independent Social Worker and has been counseling for over 20 years. She completed her undergraduate studies at Wartburg College in 1990 and received her Master’s Degree through the University of Iowa in 1994. She started Crossroads Counseling Center, LLC in 2006.
She uses an integrative therapy approach which is uniquely tailored to the individual, family or couple. Yvette has been trained in many therapy modalities and uses evidence based
techniques, and she also presents, consults, trains and supervises other clinicians.
Yvette works with children, adolescents, adults, families and couple, thoroughly enjoying
each. She has over 20 years of experience helping others work through depression,
anxiety, trauma, family difficulties, adoption, attachment, grief/loss, ADHD, pervasive
developmental issues, LGBTQ+, and transitional life situations.
Yvette is trained in EMDR, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, and is a certified
Theraplay therapist and trainer. She also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and
experiential techniques. Again, this allows for a tailored approach for one’s situation.
Yvette respects each person and has much empathy for the situations they are enduring.
She joins with others right from the beginning, seeks understanding, provides ideas on how
a person would best like to proceed. She assists and guides, but most importantly, she
walks through the process together until your desired level of peace is restored.
Yvette is married and is a stepmother and mother to a stepson and two daughters. She enjoys
her time with them through camping and traveling. She and her husband also love to bike and play volleyball, in their very little spare time.
